Refund Policy

1. Eligibility
Refunds are available within 3 calendar days of subscription purchase. After this window, refunds are not available — you may cancel your subscription to prevent future renewals instead.
2. Processing Fee
Refunds are subject to a payment gateway processing fee deduction (approximately 2% of the original payment amount). The exact refund amount is calculated by our server at the time of your request and may differ slightly from the estimate shown on the billing page.
3. How to Request a Refund
- Log in to your TheMarketSnap account.
- Navigate to Billing & Plan from the profile dropdown.
- If you are within the 3-day refund window, a “Request Refund” button will appear on your active subscription card.
- Click the button, review the estimated refund amount, and confirm.
4. What Happens After a Refund
- Your subscription is cancelled immediately.
- Your plan is downgraded to Free right away.
- You retain access to Free-tier features (dashboard, free post-market report).
- Portfolio data is preserved but locked until you re-subscribe to a paid plan.
5. Refund Timeline
Refunds are processed via Razorpay and typically credited to your original payment method within 5–7 business days. The exact timeline depends on your bank or card issuer.
6. Upgrades
Prorated upgrade payments (e.g., Pro to Elite) follow the same 3-day refund window from the date of the upgrade payment. The refund applies only to the upgrade payment amount, not the original subscription.
7. Exceptions
In exceptional circumstances (platform outages, billing errors), refunds outside the 3-day window may be considered on a case-by-case basis. Contact us at hello@themarketsnap.com.
